China's
economy is now regarded as the 4th largest in the world and has been
growing at about 9% each year.
If you are currently retailing online or in a local retail outlet, then
chances are they were made in China, or at least the Far East. Maybe you
have seen Chinese agents and manufacturers trying to retail directly to UK consumers on
eBay. Therefore, the way to save money on your purchases is to go
directly to the manufacturer. By cutting out all the middle-men, you
could feasibly purchase any generic product at a similar price to the
biggest high-street retailers, and by selling these goods directly on
eBay or through a website you could be paving your way to a very
successful online business.
Our experience
Everything that has been mentioned so far, we have learnt from direct
experience. I personally have set up two successful online retail
outlets, both of which rely on products manufactured in China. I am now helping other
companies on a consultation basis to import products from China in order
to better compete in their respective markets. Each member of our
UK team has made at least one
visit to China to inspect factories, to visit
trade exhibitions and to talk to suppliers. We have many years of
accumulated knowledge and have a working team in China ready to use their own sourcing
and negotiation skills to get quotations on any generic product. In the
past we have imported fireplace products, garden furniture, pressure
washers, computer desks, stone and timber products, fridges, wine racks
and accessories.
